Boost your S13's power with a used Nissan engine

So, you’ve got yourself a S13 and you’re looking for a more powerful used Nissan engine to boost up your speed. This is a reasonable argument since you can get your hands on a pretty decent used engine and go through with a swap for performance boosting purposes. A fairly common swap for the S13 is getting in a RB20 under the hood. Think about it, the stock S13 engine is considered slow compared to the RB20DET engine, originally found in the famous Skyline vehicles. Specifically speaking, these engines are featured in the R32 series of Skylines and there are many reasons to want to get this engine to power up your S13. It is well known that these motors are very adaptable to modifications to make them even faster than they originally are at 210 HP. A very attractive factor in making an S13 hybrid is that the car itself is relatively dirt cheap, thus letting you concentrate your finances in other more important areas such as getting a devil engine and modifying it to fit your needs. Although the RB20DET engine is heavier than the S13 stock engine, suspension work is not as fundamental as it would make you think. As for handling, if the swap is done correctly by a professional, you can expect to enjoy an either equally or greater ability to maneuver your four wheeled vehicle.
